Today is Sunday, August 18, 2024. I’ve been living near the beach since COVID in 2020. Despite being so close to the beach, I rarely get the chance to enjoy it due to my busy work life during the week.

This week, I decided to change that. Instead of going to a happy hour on Friday, I went for a walk on the beach at 5 p.m. I repeated this for the past three days, and it has been a magical experience. It reignited something within me that I’ve been trying to rekindle for a while.

The reason I started this website is that I want to start writing again and share some of my services in healing, energy work, hypnotherapy, and coaching. I’m excited about being able to do all these things at the age of 64.

I was looking for some pictures from my trips to Bali in 2018 and 2019. I had stored them on an external drive, but I couldn’t find them despite trying on different computers over the last couple of months. I thought they were lost, and while I knew there were ways to recover them, I hadn’t gotten around to it.

After coming back from the beach today, I felt inspired and relaxed. I decided to make another attempt to retrieve the lost pictures. I looked up how to recover files and then, after making some changes on Windows, I purchased a recovery software called Recuva. It scanned my computer, and suddenly, the lost drive showed up. The recovery software worked, and I was able to retrieve the lost files.

I have a habit of keeping many files and memories, including numerous pictures and videos from the last 20 years. I take an excessive amount of pictures and videos, but that’s just who I am. Taking pictures on the beach was what led me to start my first blog back in 2007 or 2008 when I began capturing images of my butterfly garden. Later, my blog, MiCaminar.com was born from the pictures I took on the beach. So, pictures hold a significant symbolic value for me.

I thought I had lost some crucial pictures from my time in Bali, a period that followed over a decade of hard work to establish a new career. I was mentally exhausted and hadn’t taken a proper vacation that wasn’t work-related for at least 10 years. I was thrilled to recover these pictures, but sorting through the vast collection to find the best ones and relive the memories was a challenge.

Similarly, on this website, I wish to share the best words to uplift and share my personal journey in the hope of inspiring others. I encountered a minor hard drive error, which made me reflect on the errors in our minds, the constant swirling of thoughts in our deep subconscious. When we are inspired, it means we are bringing in something new from the spirit. Today, my thought is to activate something I enjoy, like walking to the beach and capturing ocean pictures.

Yesterday, I took close-up shots of the strong yet gentle waves. I was almost knocked down by one wave while immersed in the water, but I managed to capture some amazing shots. When I returned home, I was so inspired that I worked on my new website from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. It just takes one small thing that you enjoy, like gardening or painting, to ignite something new. For me, photography has led to many new experiences in life.

I’m 64 this year and deeply grateful for my digital marketing work with medical non-profits. I’m with a team that values me, and it has been an incredible experience. I have no plans to give up this job, but I am envisioning my future. I want to focus on writing and sharing inspirational visuals and words. I hope to gather the best words to inspire you to embark on new and different endeavors.
